About

We’re a group of people who believe strongly that our world is awakening to a new spiritual course. It may not always feel that way given all the pain and suffering in the news, but we see it. It’s happening everywhere if you know where to look. In fact we believe that the act of looking for positive, inspirational, awe-provoking and uplifting stuff is critically important. It helps good things to manifest. To become awakened, and perhaps one day enlightened, we think the best thing to do is to look at spiritually inspiring content.

And to share it.

Our mission is to spread the light. The light of spiritual joy, of stillness, of peace and of love.

That love thing is a biggie. It can crack the hardest, most intractable shell of accumulated muck. The residue we all pile on our own inner glow.

The goal then is to shine up that inner glow. To bathe your spirit in the light. To remind you of your best self.

So please stay a while. Be inspired. And share the spirit.

  4. Thank you for following my blog! I love your about section and I agree – there’s a conscious collective helping to share love which needs to be shared! Much love to you all xxx

  5. if bloggers are anything like me, we don’t engage a lot because quality writing takes time. if i ‘LIKE’ you, consider that an engagement. it’s quality not quantity. well, that’s how i see it…

  6. It is too bad that we do not have a good news news reporting station that only focuses on the good done around the world! I applaud what you are doing here! Thanks for the follow! ^..^ B

  7. Thanks for following my blog. I am honored. You’ve come into my sphere at just the right time…I’m really needing positive and uplifting things to read right now. Thanks!

  8. Thank you for visiting my blog, thisCassandra, and for following. Your blog looks interesting; I look forward to viewing/reading your posts.

  9. Thanks for choosing to follow along with Wine and Cheese (Doodles). I applaud your desire to find the positive in all–not an easy feat. I hope that you can find a bit of positive in my words and hope to see you around. Thank you again.

  10. Thank you for following Aspring to Inspire. I appreciate it and I appreciate your blog. I do believe there is a spiritual awakening as well, however during the difficult days it is great to have a place to go to get rejuvenated back on track because negativity has a way of sucking the life out of a person. Thanks for you site…can’t wait to check it out.

  11. You’re probably getting tired of hearing this, but thanks for the follow an I agree completely with what you’re about. Also, bear in mind my blog can get a little wacky at times, but honest self examination and authentic expression of personal truth are very important to me, even when it involves crawling through the dark places of the psyche and confronting the hard questions.

    • Thanks so much for the positive words blacksun! Your blog looks great – and believe me we can all get a little wacky at time, but authenticity, honesty and truth are most important. And also the most interesting. Welcome.

  12. Thanks for following the 5writers! You’re singing my song here … I believe we, as a species, are survivors, and what that requires in this era is mass evolution towards a more cooperative and generous spirit. It’s not the ‘end times’ … It’s a new beginning.

    • Boy you said it so well. That is the awakening we’re going through – its the do unto others mentality we all learn as kids and then conveniently forget during clouded moments of ambition, greed, selfishness… But that’s where the good stuff is. Thanks for the comment and look forward to your blog.

  13. I love what you are doing here! Love and upliftment is such a precious gift. Happy to make your acquaintance. Thanks for following The HP Writings!

  15. Thanks for following Bad Atheist. I am really impressed with what you have here and though we might disagree on some of the details of Life, the Universe, and Everything, I think we agree on the most important things. And isn’t that not only the way it should be, it is best that it is. Total agreement is boring and ultimately sterile. Total disagreement harmful to us as a species and as individuals. Looking forwards to seeing more.

    • You bet. The point of this site is not to proclaim we have all of the answers. It is an exploration of spirituality, moving and uplifting content and human love. All religions and philosophies are game to present if a truth resonates. No ideologies. Welcome to the discussion and than you for your thoughtful comment.

  16. True, deeply enduring, family-based love has been trivialized into oblivion, by radical, second-wave feminism’s efforts over the last 45 years, leaving millions of “career” women rudderless in a sea of false promises and misguided advice. The radicals have succeeded in substituting feminism for faith, among those same gullible women. True love, as experienced by a Christian husband and wife for each other and their children, is something lesbian-led, radical second-wave feminism cannot countenance because it annihilates their deceptive ideology, which is based on their irrational hatred of Christian men, as “oppressors” of women. Young, “liberated”, women are the inevitable victims of this scam and before they are mature enough to discover the fact that they have been sold a “bill of goods” and that they have been grievously deceived, the personal damage is irreversible. Christian men have NEVER “oppressed” or “dominated” women (if you want to see female oppression go to Afghanistan). These men are trained to love and respect their wives and children just a Joseph did the Blessed Mother and the child Jesus. Christian men sincerely love their wives and families and want nothing more than to protect and provide for them. So yes, love is critically important to human beings, but not the universal, hippie kind of love which diminishes individuals, the Christian love of family, which so many “emancipated”, and foolishly naive, young women have been denied through their wholesale adoption of the tenets of feminism as the God’s honest truth. Good luck with your mission. Women are in desperate need of your advice in order to offset the thunderous, and insidious, influence of radical feminism. Thank you for following my blog. I would be pleased to help where I can.

  18. Hi Spiritbath,
thanks for following my blog! I’m glad to hear that you can see things improving here. I have just about lost hope. Part of the reason I started blogging was to try to help bring about a change in the world. I fiercely believe all people everywhere deserve to live a full life, in freedom. I do whatever I can to help people re-think the way we have been living here, until we change our minds, we can hardly change our actions. Its nice to see all the people here who are trying to make things better.

  19. Thanks for following my blog!

I don’t know what it is about my blog that intrigues you enough to want more, but thanks. It’s always nice to be appreciated.

Before I forget, Happy new year.

  20. Yours is a noble, incredibly vital, yet at times frustratingly illusive goal. I pray that you are correct concerning a reawakening or initial awaking of the nature and need for pure, open and unconditional love. There will be some who will want to corrupt this cause for their own non-loving purpose but I believe that love will win out. Thanks for stopping by hisnamebpraised and following the blog. Feel free to look at some of the archives and let me know what you think. Blessings to you. Doug

    • Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment. We agree that love will win out in the end. We want to help all we can. And we’ll look through your archives – thanks for swinging by. We really appreciate it. Blessings.

  21. Hi. thanks for the follow for my book blog, appreciated. Think you are bang on about spiritual revival and the importance of spiritual health. We should look for the light, but not be blind to the dark either. Look forward to reading more…

  22. Thank you for following my blog. I like your idea of looking for spiritual content in life. The good things that happen to all of us and we many times do not share. Thanks.

  23. Thanks for following my blog. If for no other reason than for me to respond to such a wonderful blog as this;=) I absolutely love this concept it is uplifting and inspiring what an awesome way to share some good, love and light. Keep up the good work I will be sure to support this blog and share it with others!

    • Oh wow what kind words. Thank you so much. Well we would love you to share our site and mission with friends of course. And please like us on Facebook too to make sure you don’t miss a post! Blessings to you.

  24. I agree with your observation. People are seeking the spiritual although we don’t always agree with one another’s choice of spirituality.

Thanks for following my blog. :)

    • You are welcome! And agreed not everyone agrees with the spirituality of others – and who are we to judge? So we won’t – we embrace it all. Each path is personal and all are valid in our opinion. Blessings to you. Hope you will stop back.

  25. Thanks for the great blog and for the follow. It is important to me to use any meager gifts I have in the service of others and it is obvious that y’all share the same belief. Thanks for making me smile today.

  26. Hey you guys have a great blog. Well as for me joining new on WordPress was due to the hardships I had faced in life and to give them my voice in form of poetry. Thanks for the follow and looking forward for inspiration from your blog! :)

  27. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and following me! I am so grateful to have found you–I love your blog, I love your energy, I love your love. I look forward to seeing more of you!

  28. Sorry, these internet computer caffes don´t have or they don´t let me hit the LIKE button. So…Like your mission statement. Thank´s for stopping by my un-paid crazy blog, hope to read more of your posts later on when I can have a little bit more of time. Plus I have a lot of questions regarding God. Maybe you can help me out with some and reading your blog will most likely do the same. Happy new year.

    • Hey thanks for the warm comments! Appreciate the support. We certainly don’t have all or even some of the answers to God. But this blog is about exploring the questions, inspiring love and wonder. And sharing it. We hope you will share the spirit with us.

      • Why does he let good people die, like my uncle right now, who is dying from aids, and bad people live?

And I´m the one who has to put his life on hold, leave the job that comes and goes when it want´s too, leave the writing thing, the blog, put my life on hold just to take care of him. Yet again if I didn´t do it, I couldn´t look at myself in the mirror. But I feel now that maybe killing him would be better than him suffering everyday. Stop his missery and that of my hole family. And move on. That makes me a bad person?

  29. Thank you for following me, everything is for a reason, and its lovely how like minded people merge together. There is a lot happening in the world and we are part of something so much bigger :-)

  30. Thanks for taking a look at my blog and becoming a follower. I like the emphasis on love in your mission. Scripture teaches that “love covers over a multitude of sins.” I Peter 4:8

        • Ok great – thank you so much for all the love and support. Means the world. So are we to also pay it forward by handing out other sunshine awards like you did (as it says to do on your post) and then list 10 interesting things about us? Since it is our first such award I’m asking some pretty basic stuff, but want to get it right. Thanks again!

  40. Hello, Spiritbath. I admire your dedicated work to bringing light to humanity. This is an important thing to do. I believe that the time when light emerges in every heart, our humanity will rewrite a new history. When light trumphs in every heart, humanity will take a different course.

Thank you for being part of the change and I commend you for what you do and for bringing inspiration to others. I would like to thank you for following my blog. I hope what I write in there every Saturday is useful for you. Blessings and much love to you ♥

    • Thanks for the note Subhan. The light is already there inside of us all. We just let it dim or get covered up under the pile of bills and daily grind. But the potential is there as you say. Wonderful to meet you and look forward to reading your work. Blessings.

  41. Thank you for the follow. Wish i could watch the vidoe about the Boston Marathon, but the internet’s too limited. Enjoyed the baby singing though. Good luck.

  48. I want to thank you for your time that you invested in stopping by Fresh Oil. I also thank you for your talents and creativity that I was able to indulge myself in while on your page. I like the love concept for it is the greatest of all commandments, especially within the new testament. I would love to partner with you in spreading connectivity of the gospel to all. Make your difference be a difference that’s not over shadowed by a covering. Let your light shine and remember if you be ashamed of Him He will be ashamed of you.

    Thanks,

    • Thank you Aaron! Delighted to follow your blog and appreciate your message. It takes a village to put out the message of love and hope. Glad to be with you on this journey. Blessings.

  49. Thank you, Spiritbath. The work you’re doing reverberates in waves of blessing throughout the planet. May you all be healthy, happy and prosperous. And thanks for following my blog.

  50. Oh my heavens! What’s not to love? I love the focus on goodness and you are right, the love thing is a biggie. Not sure why its so hard for some folks, but that’s why it is important to spread it anywhere we can. All the best!

  51. Thank you so much for the follow on ownwhoyouare! I love the message and purpose of your blog. Reaching out to others is an amazing, fulfilling and emotional journey. Thank you for doing this! May you continue to be blessed to find those that truly need your message (and the ones that really do, but don’t know it yet :)). Have a wonderful day!

    • Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment. We are hoping to do our part to spread joy, wonder, love and a spiritual curiosity. We are delighted to meet you and follow you on your journey as well. Best.

  52. Wonderful blog. As Rick Hanson so clearly points out in his wonderful book “Hardwiring Happiness,” it turns out that “taking in the good” — really internalizing the positive experiences we have — actually helps rewire the brain’s positive neural networks, while decreasing those that cause stress and anxiety. So yes, please keep this up. Our ancient brains’ survival mechanism is stimulated today, more than ever, leading to stress, anxiety, and a host of physical symptoms. Taking in the good and spreading loving kindness and compassion is one of the best ways of countering this reality. :)

The Ancient Brain and Modern Mindfulness

    • Thanks so much and super well said. That’s what meditation does – help rewire the neural pathways. Break us from our thought patterns which may lead us to make the same mistakes. So we agree – keeping your eyes and thoughts and senses trained on the positive, love-filled stuff we try to send out into the world can hopefully have a little impact. Blessings to you!

  53. Beautifully put, love the intent of the blog. I made a deliberate point of posting amusing and more positive images this year. These are observations I make so very naturally, creating the images allows me to enjoy those moments a little longer instead of allowing them to pass so quickly…. looking forward to receiving your posts in my reader.

  54. Beautiful ethos, energy, and content here. I share that same current, and try to portray it in my work. I appreciate you following my website. I’ve just shown my kids two videos and explained (as we do every day here out our house) how people bring a variety of gifts to life, that we need to appreciate people for whoever they are, and that most of all, if we were all the same, it would be like a rainbow with no colors. Not much of a rainbow there, am I right? ;-) Keep bringing the joy.

  68. Thank you for following “The Middle Piddle” adventures in puppy fostering. I hope to keep you grining on this families trials, gaffes and nausea from too much sweet-cuteness. Always happy to have someone take a gander at the little monsters.

They are rescues, turned into the Human Society by the local euthanasia pound and all other experienced fosters ran and hid. THIS? THis was our very first fostering.

And we got 13 dogs. 12 cannot go outside. No shots and two very large raptors (Red-tailed hawks, I think. Big ones.) that live in a pine tree nearby and I would not doubt that a 7 pound puppy would be a tastey meal.

Keep in touch! And thank you again.

  69. Hello! Thank you for the follow! It looks like we share many of the same beliefs! It’s nice to see another positive blogger! I have a busy day ahead of me (thank goodness a telemarketer awoke me with a phone call) but I’ll be back later to check out your nice videos!

  85. Spiritbath, you are the best help for others as you bring your inner self & the inner glow to others around you & on your About.Me page. I do believe in God & his son who died for us all. I was born in a Christian family & grew up learning about all of God’s works & how to become happier & more instrumental by enjoying the music that God brings to us all through a lot of Christian bands. That is a necessity! Thanks & will read your other posts that you have!
